Hats, Scarves and Ties

Our new shipment of hats, scarves and ties has arrived. We have them available for sale at the 4-H office.

Friends Helping Friends

Friends Helping Friends will be held June 13 from 8-1 at the fairgrounds. For over 25 years 4-H has conducted an event bringing together youth and adults with varying special needs. This activity was started due to interest developed by 4-H members raising Guide Dog Puppies. The current event, "Friends Helping Friends," is conducted in cooperation with the Merced County Fair. The activities include guided tours, visits to fair exhibit buildings, petting zoo, other hands-on activities, and lunch provided by the Merced Elks. Please sign up to help by being a tour guide during this event. Your club leaders have sign-up sheets available, or call the office at 385-7418. Youth and parents are welcome to be tour guides.

 Camp

Camp is right around the corner. This year camp will be June 28th to July 2nd. Cost for camp this year is $160. Remember each club needs 1 chaperone per 10 campers. Make sure your chaperone is the same gender as most of your campers. We will not expect camp applications without club chaperones
